Playtest Two

Playtest Two expands on the Rexfald Quickstart release, adding a substantial new wave of fully playable content that deepens the setting’s outlaw-frontier fantasy. It builds on the core rules and tone already established, offering more ways to engage with Rexfald’s harsh borderlands where law, magic, and myth grind against each other.

This playtest introduces additional subclasses for nearly every core class, each rooted in frontier archetypes and designed for cinematic, high-impact play. Players can embody wanted barbarians powered by bounties, bards wielding cursed instruments or daredevil performance, clerics commanding bloodlines or binding foes with divine lassos, druids summoning spectral herds or brewing moonshine, and warriors who ride ley lines or step beyond reality itself.

Rather than presenting a single adventure, this document functions as a playable content drop, expanding the toolbox available to players and GMs running Rexfald campaigns. Included are:

• New, fully playable subclasses across most core classes.
• Frontier- and outlaw-themed mechanics that integrate with the main playtest.
• Systems focused on movement, reputation, curses, mounts, and territory.
• Cinematic abilities that reward bold, story-forward choices.
